gettext based i18n and L10n

Kunena (and hopefully Joomla) should switch to gettext based i18n and L10n in order to improve the quality of its translation to other languages. Gettext provides support for non-western plural forms, has many tools available to both developers and translators that make tracking and managing language files much easier.

        Can we perhaps use the po format internally for the Kunena project, and use scripts to convert it back and forth to whatever Joomla needs. I really think this will make maintaining translations easier.
