ObjectClarity's Discussbot 1.08g released four months ago. See ObjectClarity's forum threat on its release. The plugin will only works with 1.5 in legacy mode--and then with more bugs than you can poke a stick at. For example, its presence will cause GCalendar to blow up with "Allowed memory size of Xxx bytes exhausted" it says was caused by the Kunena Component.
This is a great plug-in but has not made it over the barrier. What a shame. Perhaps if everyone gave some more encouragement to Object Clarity?

If someone else is developing this then why is it still being voted on?

Does this really needed if one of the social plugins ( JomSocial or CB ) is already implemented on the system ?

We can't migrate to this forum until this is in place. We already use it extensively with our current Joomla/SMF integration, but we want to get off of it and onto this platform.

I would love this feature. I didn't have much luck getting object clarity to work on my site with fireboard, Instead I use comments.

I would prefer to use a discuss bot as getting forums up and running is difficult. encouraging article discussion rather than comments will hopefully encourage participation from others and build my forums popularity

Please make this a priority - it is a must for many sites that prefer a forum instead of a comment system!

The ObjectClarity Discussbot is really awesome. It is a comment system. You can decide, if these comments appear in the board. You can make each category or section an own thread, automatically. Equal where the disussions happpen (below the article or in board) the posts are shown and discussed at same time below article and in thread - so you need only one moderation.
